My new go-to drama game book.
This is the best drama game resource I have come across. I’ve been a drama teacher for over 20 years. This year I am teaching ages 4-17 (creative dramatics/improv). I thought I had seen it all until I came upon this…thanks for giving me a new arsenal of games & ideas.

Great collection of theatre activities.
Really great collection of theatre activities good for a wide variety of age groups. Some I new, a bunch of new ones, and a couple variations of games I was familiar with. Especially liked when they gave options to alter the difficulty of certain activities.

Middle School Drama Club loves it!
This book is SO HELPFUL for games with my drama club at school. I have middle schoolers and we’re really enjoying the different games in it! A great buy!

Interesting activities and a very well organized book.
I am an English teacher and I bought this book in search of activities to carry out as a fun way of learning English, I’ll try them out throughout the school year and share my opinions after that, but for now my opinion is that the activities seem fun, are well explained and classified / organized according to their goal. Thanks for putting this book together!

Every teacher’s tool box should have this! Superb activities that are ready for use right off the bat. I’m a beginner – just a teacher filling a need at my school. The activities are great for brain breaks in the classroom as well!! I highly recommend this book for any teacher needing energizers or team building activities. Just love, LOVE this book.

Came in handy! Great book! Came in handy many days! Easy to follow directions, laid out in chapters that show the purpose, or learning goal, of each game.

I liked the book very much. Some stuff I knew and other stuff was brand new. I recommend it to anyone.

Last week I ran a few workshops at a summer camp with children ranging from six to adolescence age. I was able to adapt Beat By Beat Drama activities to the themes of my workshop and not only were they very helpful but a great success with the participants of all ages.
I thought I should share this with you and thank you for being an invaluable asset to us teachers. They are an invaluable resource. I truly and sincerely appreciate this.
Last week I was asked to help out with activities for 5 to 10 year old children at a Summer camp and believe me the games were an instant hit. I tried at the end of each game to ask them what had they got out of these games and much to my surprise they came up with some real gems, like “we learned to cooperate with each other” and “that no one is better than any one else,” “we can all do something” “it helps us to not to be shy” etc. There were 38 kids and I needed something that would hold their interest for the whole afternoon.
I later tried some of these games with a few changes and played them with 12 t0 15 year old participants and they too enjoyed them.
